The Butler Bulldogs visit the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C on Saturday for a Big East clash against the Georgetown Hoyas. The Butler Bulldogs were able to improve to 13-10 after winning at home this past Saturday against the Seton Hall Pirates 70-68. Paul Jorgensen was able to have the biggest game for the Bulldogs as he contributed 18 points off the bench while Sean McDermott had a solid all-around game with 7 points and 7 rebounds.

Georgetown currently sits at 15-8 on the season as they were able to win on the road this past Wednesday against the Providence Friars 76-67. Freshmen forward Josh LeBlanc was able to contribute a double-double for the Hoyas as he recorded 17 points and 11 rebounds. Sophomore guard Jamorko Pickett went a perfect 4 for 4 from behind the 3-point line which helped contribute to his 12-point performance.

Free Betting Pick: Georgetown Hoyas -2

I will back the Georgetown Hoyas in this matchup as they are a significantly better scoring team than the Bulldogs and factor in the fact they return home where they are 10-4 straight up. Georgetown has shown scoring depth throughout their starting lineup as all 5 starters reached double-digits in their latest game against Providence. Butler will not be able to keep pace with the Hoyas in the scoring department which will prove to be a factor especially in the 2nd half. Georgetown wins and covers the spread 78-72.
