The Washington Huskies host the San Diego Toreros in late night action on Monday at Alaska Airlines Arena in Seattle. Both of these teams are coming off solid campaigns last season and appear poised for continued improvement this season.
The San Diego Toreros and Washington Huskies are both expected to finish near the top of their respective conferences. However, San Diego plays in a conference where there is Gonzaga and then essentially everyone else. Washington, on the other hand, plays in the tough Pac-12 conference.

The argument here, at least in this writer's opinion, is that the strength of conference edge as well as home court edge has not been given as much credit as it should have been. The result here is value with a Washington Huskies team that is ranked with good reason.
This will be the first time on the young season that the San Diego Toreros are an underdog. San Diego has played UC Davis and Weber State thus far. Washington, on the other hand, is already battle tested as they had to face a very tough Auburn team Friday.
