On Saturday August 24, the Arizona Wildcats open their 2019 college football regular season on the road at Aloha Stadium against the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors. Last season, the Wildcats were a disappointing 5-7 overall and 4-5 in Pac-12 play. The Wildcats regressed from a 7-6 season in 2017 and pressure mounted late in the season on first-year coach Kevin Sumlin.

Hawaii finished its 2018 season at 8-6 and was 5-3 in the Mountain West Conference. The season was a huge turnaround from its 2017 season when the Rainbow Warriors were a disappointing 3-9. Hawaii lost the Hawaii Bowl last season to Louisiana Tech 31-14. Head coach Nick Rolovich will be in his fourth season at the helm and an improvement over last season’s record is expected.

Free Betting Pick: Hawaii Rainbow Warriors +11

Hawaii likes to air the ball out but will be facing an Arizona defense that forced 13 fumbles and intercepted 7 passes while sacking the quarterback 23 times. The Pac-12 is considered a much stronger conference than the Mountain West and the Arizona offense will prove to be too tough to stop for Hawaii, but the Rainbow Warriors will rally late to cover. Final Score Prediction, Arizona Wildcats win but fall short ATS 38-30
