Florida State needs to improve on what they did last year that saw them finish at 5-7. However, the team is going to have to do it with almost a completely new squad from last year. The Seminoles have am Akers coming back at running back and that could be a great feature as he looks to build on his 706 yards and 6 touchdowns from last year.
The defense for the Seminoles was ranked towards the bottom of the nation last year. What does not help the Seminoles out in this game is the fact that the team is also coming in with only 5 starters from the defense coming back. That makes it even harder for the Seminoles to get a winning team together and with how bad the defense was pushed around last year it could be a disastrous start this year as well.
