Free Betting Pick: Texas Longhorns +4.5

The Texas Longhorns are one of my sleeper picks to make the College Football Playoff, and this will be a big chance to prove their worth in their home stadium. The Texas offense is legit this season, especially since they have one of the better dual-threat QBs in the nation as Sam Ehlinger is very dangerous. The LSU Tigers are a good team, but they lost a ton of talent on the defensive side of the ball this past season which could cause problems here. Texas will need to step up on the defensive side of the ball, but they are strong in the secondary which will force the Tigers to run the ball more which will play into the Longhorns favor. Texas has one of the biggest stadiums in college football and I expect it to be full of Longhorn fans which will give this team an extra jolt here. Final Score Prediction, Texas Longhorns win and cover ATS 31-27.
