The Washington Nationals visit Dodger Stadium on Thursday to play Game 1 of their best of five National League Division Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Nationals defeated the Milwaukee Brewers 4-3 on Tuesday in the NL wildcard showdown. The Nationals rallied to beat the Brewers behind a based loaded single by Juan Soto in the bottom of the eighth inning.
Los Angeles easily won the National League West by 21 games and used the final two weeks of the season to gets its players healthy for a long postseason run. Justin Turner has been given the green light to play as has reliever Joe Kelly. The Dodgers have not announced their starting pitcher for Thursday, but expect either Clayton Kershaw or Hyun-Jin Ryu to take the mound for Los Angeles.
