Are the Browns the real deal? That is a common question that you can find being asked almost anywhere in the NFL this year. Now, after completely dominating the Redskins in the opening game of the preseason, it is going to be hard to discount the Browns chances of being the real deal as they are a team that was able to pick up a 20 point win and managed to get 2 picks off of Haskins.
Garrett Gilbert was able to throw the ball for the Browns, as the backup, but did not do that great. He was only able to go 14-22 with 135 yards. D’Ernest Johnson was the running back who managed to lead the Browns running attack with 5 carries for 23 yards.

The Colts have definitely been a team that a lot of people picked to be the early on favorite to win their division. However, the Colts in the opening game were unable to beat the Bills of all teams. Granted, it is preseason, but the question remains as to what kind of offensive effort the Colts can have and if Andrew Luck will be healthy enough as he was listed and still is on the injury report so far.
A bad sign for the Colts was the fact that the quarterback who led the team, Chad Kelly, with 13-19 and 121 yards, was also the leading rushing. Kelly carried the ball 4 times for 53 yard and did manage to get a score, but still the quarterback should never be the leading rusher.
