The Colts had a good quarterback in Jacoby Brissett who threw for 2942 yards last year with 18 touchdowns, but threw only 6 picks. However, as a reward the Colts ended up signing Philip Rivers in the offseason. Granted, Rivers could bolster the team, but also help Brissett get more time to develop, but he could also cause problems with the roster as well. Marlon Mack is coming back to start the game at running back. Last year Mack ended up carrying the ball 247 times with a total of 1091 yards and 8touchdowns.
Defensively the Colts are going to have some issues in the year and that comes from the fact that the Colts have a patchwork defense. Granted, the team could look good, but it will be dependent on the way the team is able to play defensively and if all the players come together. One major addition for the team will be how well Xavier Rhodes is able to play this year.

With the Jaguars they are heading into the game here with an offense that has been revamped by Jay Gruden the new offensive coordinator. However, the team will really depend on how well Gardner Minshew II does under the new system. Last year he threw for 3271 yards with 21 touchdowns and 6 picks. Leonard Fournette is coming in to handle the running back position. Last year Fournette ran for 1152 yards, but only 3 touchdowns.
Defensively Jacksonville was horrible last year. The Jaguars did try to make some improvements, but the changes made definitely will take some time to pan out. Look for the defense of Jacksonville to be the drawback for the Jaguars in this game again.
