TV: NFL
Latest Odds : SF -4 Total 36

The Dallas Cowboys are set to visit Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California for a preseason clash against the San Francisco Giants. The Dallas Cowboys will be looking to expand off their success from the 2018 season as they went 10-6 and eventually fell in the NFC Divisional Round. The Cowboys will return their star QB in Dak Prescott who contributed 3885 passing yards, 22 TDs, and 8 interceptions a year ago. Prescott is surrounded by a ton of weapons as RB Ezekiel Elliot is looking to continue his successful NFL career after contributing 2001 scrimmage yards last year. Prescott will also look to connect with big target WR Amari Cooper who had 725 yards and 6 TDs in only 9 games.

The Dallas Cowboys had one of the best defenses during the 2018 season as they ranked 6th in the NFL in points allowed. The Cowboys are in good hands with 2nd-year LB Leighton Vander Esch as he contributed a team-high 140 tackles last season as well as Jaylon Smith who pitched in 121 tackles. Demarcus Lawrence is one of the best pass rushers in the game as the veteran contributed 10.5 sacks during the 2018 campaign.

The San Francisco 49ers will be looking to respond after going 4-12 during the 2018 campaign, and they have the pieces in tack as they are a talented team. The San Francisco 49ers are excited to get some production out of QB Jimmy Garoppolo who only played in 3 games last season due to a torn ACL. Garoppolo will have a very talented target in TE George Kittle who contributed 1377 receiving yards and 5 TDs a year ago.

The San Francisco 49ers will need to turn it around on the defensive side of the ball after finishing 28th in the NFL in points allowed. The 49ers will return their leading tackler from a season ago as Fred Warner contributed 124 tackles. DeForest Buckner lived up to his 1st round potential with 12 sacks last season, and he will be joined by veteran pass rusher Dee Ford. The secondary will need to vastly improve after combining for only 2 interceptions last year.

Free Betting Pick: Dallas Cowboys +4

The Dallas Cowboys have dominated the San Francisco 49ers ATS as of recent as they have covered in 4 of their last 5 meetings. The Dallas Cowboys should be able to keep this game close as they have a solid backup QB in Cooper Rush who will continue to see reps in preparation for any injuries to Prescott. The Cowboys will give extended carries to rookie RBs Mike Weber and Tony Pollard as Elliot’s status is up in the air for the 2019 season. The San Francisco 49ers will ultimately win this game due to the talent they have in the QB room and the offensive guru they have in Kyle Shanahan, but this will be a close one throughout. Final Score Prediction, San Francisco 49ers win but fail to cover ATS 24-21.
